If you’re asking what is a heat sealer, it’s a device which uses heat in order to seal packaging materials, especially those out of plastic. Many products being sold these days are sealed using such device, no matter if they come from large corporations or small-scale businesses. It can also be found in some kitchens because of the practicality it provides. It’s highly useful for storing food stuff and other items.

There are two major types of this device – continuous and impulse. Also known as band or automatic, continuous sealer is often employed at busy production lines or factories. Items that are placed inside plastic containers are carried by conveyor belts to the heating elements, responsible for fusing the opening of the container together.

Depending on their age the materials used for their components can be anything from metal channels to fibreglass to plastics, sometimes covering duct tubes constructed of coiled wire.

The typical system will include the ducting, inspection hatches, junctions and duct branches, where the ducts are directed through all parts of the building as well as air blowers for moving the air through the system and smoke or fire dampers.

There are several good reasons for ensuring that a duct system is working well and in good repair.

Perhaps the most important is that the quality of air in the system needs to be maintained for the health of the building’s occupants.
